is former head of Citigroup in Norway and deputy CEO of Eksportfinans, the Norwegian export credit institution. She has also been CEO of the Norwegian derivatives clearinghouse, NOS. She is currently working as a non-executive director on a number of boards of companies and foundations in Scandinavia. She is vice chairman of Folketrygdfondet (Norwegian Government Pension Fund – Domestic), and board member of GIEK, E-CO Energi, Carnegie, CorpNordic and Unifor (amongst others). Mai has an MBA from Stanford University. |

His early career was spent in operational roles in the steel and oil industries followed by twelve years at McKinsey & Company where he was a Partner. He then held senior positions in the building products sector with Meyer International Plc/Saint-Gobain where he was CEO of Timber Products, MD of Jewson and COO of Meyer/Saint-Gobain UK, and with HSS Hire Service Group where he was a Board Director of the private equity backed business. He is a non-executive director of The Brett Group, a privately held construction and building materials group in the UK. |

is a founding partner of the Environmental Technologies Fund (ETF), a London-based venture capital fund backed by some of the world’s leading institutional investors. ETF’s mandate is to invest growth capital in Cleantech companies across Europe. Prior to establishing ETF in 2005, Henrik was a Managing Director of GE Equity, GE’s private equity business. During his 13 years with GE he was involved with transactions in a wide variety of industries and markets across Europe. Henrik has an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, which included a scholarship exchange with the New York University, Stern School of business. Henrik is also a member of the European Advisory Board of the Cleantech Venture Network. |

Iain joined Seventure in 2008 as an Advisor to the Life Sciences Team. His time is dedicated to the coverage of UK and Ireland Life Science community on behalf of Seventure. Iain is based in London. Prior to joining Seventure, Iain established and managed for over 10 years the healthcare investment business of Quester Capital, an early-stage venture capital business. He was Deputy Managing Director at Quester and built a strong personal 10 year investment track record in healthcare. In 2007, Iain founded Vela Venture Partners to advise early-stage investors in the UK. He has been involved with over 40 startups. He is an experienced non-executive director, having served on the boards of biotechnology and med-tech companies, including Vivacta, Oxford Immunotec, Sterix, BiancaMed, Avidex, Lorantis, Oxxon Therapeutics and Xention. He is a member of the British Venture Capital Association, the BioIndustry Association and UNICO. Between 2008 and 2010, Iain was Deputy Chair of the Strategic Advisory Board for IP Policy that advised the UK Intellectual Property Office and UK Government. Iain holds a Masters degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford, a finance qualification from London Business School and is a qualified UK taxation expert. |

Martin Kröner is managing partner of Munich Venture Partners. Prior to joining the MVP team, Martin was co-founder and CEO of agnion Energy Inc., a supplier of distributed energy plants to convert woody biomass into electrical power and natural gas. He built up the company to one of the leaders in this space and successfully completed several financing rounds with renowned investors, such as Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers, Wellington Partners and Waste Management Inc.. Prior to agnion, Martin worked at Linde Engineering, world’s leading supplier of technical gases and is one of the most profitable engineering companies. Amongst other projects he was member of the R&D team developing green hydrogen production. Prior to Linde, Martin built up Thermotec Engineering Services, a spin off from the Technical University of Munich. Martin holds a M.Sc. in mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. in combustion engineering from the Technical University in Munich. During his industry career he made several inventions reflected in 10 international patent applications |
